Nephtali Kaal owns the “Psionic Café”, a coffee and new age oddities shop in Little Five Points in Decatur, Georgia. Her unusual shop offers Wi-Fi connections and new age materials to local college kids. Due to her vast knowledge of the demonic world and her possession of an ancient writ, Nephtali has become a prime target for destruction by demons.

 

In an attempt on her life, a demon steps from the shadow realm and claims her eighteen-year-old niece, Veya, by mistake… or so Tallie thinks.

 

With Veya missing, Nephtali and her albino sidekick, Kane Chevalier start shaking down the demon world in search of the missing niece, giving Tallie the title of “Spectre - The Demon Slayer”, while upping the stakes in the demon world for her capture.

The “Morduks”, or “magyck-makers”, remained with their appointed master, toiling to bring down the thrones of heaven. Still, half of Lucifer’s third opposed the take-over bid and rose up against him in the first demon war. The rebels became the “Order of Aurelis”, or, “order of the enlightened”.
